Bruce Clark – Chief Executive Officer
Bruce Clark is the CEO and founder of New Clients, Inc., an international marketing and consulting firm to the accounting profession. He spent 14 years as marketing director of his father’s firm, Garden Accounting Service, and, in 1987, established NCI. For several years, Bruce also owned and operated his own accounting firm, which he successfully sold in 1987. Since establishing NCI, he and his team have conducted over 300 seminars and trained over 4,500 accountants on how to develop a successful practice and lifestyle. He is also a dedicated practitioner of the Korean martial art, Tang Soo Do. Bruce has earned the rank of 5th degree black belt, giving him the respected title of Master. Bruce is also the author of the book, NCI Effect, Explosive Growth and Personal Development Plan for Accountants and CPAs. He and his wife, Kathy (Kate), have been married for 31 years.
Chris Clark – Executive Editor, NCN
Executive Editor, New Client News and Client Support Services
Chris Clark is the oldest son of NCI CEO and founder Bruce Clark. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. He has worked for New Clients since April 2006 filling a variety of roles including Senior Account Executive, client support, editor of and contributor to the NCI newsletter New Client News, seminar presenter on web and email marketing, playing the prospective client during the seminar role play sessions and maintaining the NCI Facebook page. Chris also helped Bruce edit his first book, The NCI Effect which came out in 2011. In his leisure time Chris is a film fan and an avid reader.
Tyler Clark – Account Executive
Tyler is the youngest son of CEO and founder Bruce Clark. He graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a minor in business. Tyler greatly enjoys travelling the world experiencing other cultures. He has spent time in various European countries. For his next trip he looks forward to visiting Asia for the first time. Tyler is making the most of his time with NCI by learning the family business under the tutelage of his father, brother, mother and the other long term staff members. New to the company as of June 2012 he has already proven himself as a valuable member of the sales team and looks forward to helping each individual client with the honor and respect they deserve, to the fullest of his capabilities.
Tyler earned his black belt in Korean martial art Tang Soo Do by the age of 14, thanks to his father’s commitment to the martial life. That shared commitment continues into adulthood through three years of Tai Ji training under master Lei Pei Yun with hopes to soon study Wushu. Tyler is also thoroughly interested in the outdoors and he has studied survival and primitive living under Tom Brown Jr., and expert in the field of tracking. He also enjoys going to music concerts and reading science fiction, fantasy, and philosophy. Like his father, he hopes to one day start a successful company of his own.
Todd Steinberg – Executive VP of Sales & Marketing
Todd Steinberg offers more than 18 years of experience emphasizing sales, marketing and business development in the industry of marketing accounting services. The scope of Todd’s experience has spanned virtually all aspects of the accounting practice marketing industry. A respected leader in the industry, his experience includes developing new marketing strategies, NCI program sales, providing sales and marketing support to NCI’s 4,000+ clients, hiring and training of marketing personnel for accounting firms nationwide and speaking at regional and national conferences as an authority on marketing accounting services.
His career includes leadership roles such as serving as the lead instructor at NCI’s Practice Development Seminar, Director of NCI’s Practice Development Coaching program and Director of Monitoring and Support. He is also responsible for leading NCI’s accounting practice sales division and has been personally involved in the sale of over 100 firms nationwide. In his spare time he enjoys working out and spending time with his wife Jessica and two young children Sydney and Ben.
Pete Borrelli – Senior Account Executive
Pete Borrelli has been associated with NCI since 1999, first as a CSR for two CPA firms in the Rochester, NY area, and then nearly 10 years as a Senior Account Executive implementing the NCI program in the field. His involvement with the accounting profession dates back to 1982 as a Sales Representative for Commerce Clearing House (CCH), and after 12 years, with Paychex in the same capacity. Prior to 1982, Pete worked in Human Resource Management. In addition to his responsibilities as Senior Account Executive, Pete created the Client Acquisition Program for Payroll for NCI.
Pete holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boston University, and a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations degree from Cornell University. Pete and wife Mary Ann have two grown children and live in the Rochester, NY area. In his spare time, Pete enjoys watching hockey, playing golf, and attending symphony concerts and the theatre.
Ian Shumaker – Senior Account Executive
Ian Shumaker has been a Senior Account Executive with New Clients Inc. for more than eight years. He is a retired Army Infantry officer. He received a BA degree in Business Administration from Villanova University and an MBA in Finance from Drexel University. After college Ian held financial positions at ICI America and Rockwell International. Most recently Ian was sales manager for a utility consulting firm in West Chester, PA and has sold computers and software for NCR Corp. and Computer Associates. He is married and has two sons.
Bob Shafer – Senior Account Executive
Bob Shafer’s first exposure to the NCI process was as a business owner. Having opened a small furniture store in the Cleveland, OH area in 2003, Bob was contacted by an appointment setter from a local accounting firm using NCI’s Plan II Program, and visited by their Client Service Representative. The CSR secured Bob and his wife Jing as clients for the firm, and they experienced the NCI process as clients for the following three years. During this period, Bob accepted a position for another firm in the Cleveland area as a Client Service Representative (while his wife continued running the store), and during the following 3 years helped build a “start up” accounting firm to about $700,000 in annualized billings.
After this company was sold, Bob came on board with NCI as a Senior Account Executive, working directly with accounting firms in the field installing Plan II and III programs. During this period, Bob also spoke and taught at NCI’s seminars around the country, led coaching webinars, contributed to the monthly newsletter and helped oversee the activities of other Senior Account Executives. Bob served in this role working directly for NCI for about two and a half years before accepting a position as CSR for another accounting firm, this time in the Tampa, FL area.
After another successful two and a half years as a CSR, Bob came back on board with NCI in April of 2011 as a Senior Account Executive, and is currently involved in the installation of these programs around the country, hiring and training appointment setters and Client Service Representatives. When not travelling for NCI, Bob still works in the field securing clients for the firm in Tampa. Having experienced the NCI system for nine years, few people have seen the NCI system succeed from as many differing perspectives as Bob!
Gene Senatore – Senior Account Executive
Gene Senatore holds a Bachelors Degree from Penn State University and a Masters Degree in Management from Webster University. He has an extensive sales and marketing background, including over 20 years experience as a National Sales Manager for an industrial plastics manufacturer. Most recently, Gene spent 4 years working for a small business accounting office in Boston, MA which utilized the NCI Marketing Program to grow their practice, prior to establishing his own Bookkeeping, Payroll and Tax Business on Cape Cod, MA. In 2010, Gene joined NCI as a Senior Account Executive.
Jeff Arndt – Senior Account Executive
Jeff Arndt has been a Senior Account Executive with New Clients Inc. for the past two years. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from California State University at Chico. Before going to work for NCI he was the Director of Marketing at a CPA firm in Oakland, CA. He brought in $200,000 in business in the fourteen months he was with the firm. In his current role at New Clients he sells marketing programs to accounting firms around the country and supports those programs. He has also contributed to teaching the marketing program at NCI’s Practice Development Seminar. In his spare time he likes spending time with his family. He is also and avid sports fan having played basketball in high school and college. His favorite sports teams are the Oakland Raiders and the Oakland Athletics
Marge DiCamillo – Office Manager
Marge met Bruce and Kathy Clark when she became their neighbor in 1984 and in 1991 they offered her a position with NCI.
Marge has been an integral part of the NCI team for the past 20 years. During which time she started out in the production room and has since worked her way up to office manager. In addition to overseeing the office, Marge helped to organize and edit Bruce Clark’s book, The NCI Effect, which came out in 2011. She maintains the NCI website, organizes the monthly e-newsletter and all promotional emails sent by NCI. She also prepares travel arrangements for Plan II and III clients attending the Practice Development Seminar as well as booking travel for NCI’s Senior Account Executives visiting offices around the country to install Plan II and Plan III programs.
Marge has been married for 28 years to her husband, Bob. They have two sons, Michael and Nicholas. In her leisure time, Marge loves spending time with her family and friends, and enjoys reading.
Prior to her employment with NCI, Marge was a billing clerk for Nabisco in one of their distribution warehouses, where she was employed for 12 years. Marge then took a couple of years off to become a stay-at-home mom for her two young sons.
